  1. Foundation 2 says:

Foundation love their mummies and had alot to say about them.

Some of the reasons they love their mummy are because: She does work for me (Albie), She lets me go on the computer (Jack), She lets me play outside (Noah) and she tidys our room and makes my bed (Holly).

Our mums are pretty special and some of the reasons are because she gives us cuddles, kisses, helps us to sleep and gives us treats.

Foundation had some great ideas to treat our mummies and they where to tidy our bedroom, make breakfast in bed and give her a present.

  2. Year 1 says:

Everybody in year one shared something that their Mum does for them.
My Mum cooks my favourite tea, Pizza! (Ethan)
My Mum tidies my bedroom (Phoebe)

My Mum helps me with my homework (Max)

My Mum takes me out on my scooter so I keep fit! (William)
My Mum makes me porridge for breakfast (Ellis)
My Mum makes me scrambled egg on toast. (Archie)
My Mum makes me a cup of tea (Elsie-Rai)

Matilda said her Mum was kind. Ben said his Mum was reliable. Reuben said his Mum was helpful. Sophia said her Mum was friendly. Dylan said his Mum was nice and kind. Edward said his mum forgives him if he makes a mistake.

We show our Mums that we love them by giving them hugs, kisses and cuddles. We try to be helpful at home. We do as we are told. We use good manners. We give our Mums things that we have made. We hold our Mums by the hand. We try to be good.

Year 1 listened to the poems and liked them all. They are going to be writing their own poems this week in school.
Everybody agreed that Mums do so much for us and its important to say thank you on Mothering Sunday and indeed all year round. We all love our special Mums!
