My favourite shade of blue is Navy Blue as we are West Bromwich Albion fans in the Turner household! I look forward to finding out Foundation’s favourite shade of blue 🙂
Hatties favourite shade of blue is dark blue, as this is the colour of her Dory cup. Other blue things we found :

William went around the house and made a pile of blue things he’d found. We talked about lighter and darker shades and also about turquoise and navy. He took a long time to decide which was his favourite but in the end decided it was light blue.

– Bath mat, royal blue.
– Play till, navy blue.
– Saffys glasses, light blue.
– Pony Dash, sky blue.
– Quilt cover, dark blue.
– Shower gel, indigo blue.
– Dory, royal blue.
Over the weekend we have seen so many objects that are blue. We have seen dark blue and navy blue but Lilys favourite was baby blue like the sky and her daddy’s trainers! This morning Lily opened a colour changing spoon out of her cereal box, this was dark blue and went lighter until turning white. Me and Lily spoke about this change over breakfast. We’ve had a lovely weekend!
Scarlett’s Mommy is very sorry the Turner family are baggies fans. She prefers the royal blue of Birmingham City 🙂 We found all sorts of different shades of blue out and about and around the house. We found pale, bright and dark blues. Scarlett’s favourite was sky blue.
Ava found dozens of blue things around the house and while we were out and about! She said her favourite shade was all of them! (We narrowed it down to a light blue though!) Sorry!
Sebastian has been having a competition with mommy all weekend spotting blue things. I printed off a sheet with the different shades of blue to see if we could match them up with the chart. He didn’t realise there were so many!

We visited Ilshaw Heath model railway today and Oliver spotted some blue objects. He spotted a dark blue train carriage, light blue sweet bag, his fairy cake had light blue icing on it and a boy with a light blue top. Also at home Oliver found different shades of blue, his robot, Thomas, his chair, truck, furby, train track, jumper and storage container. Oliver knew the difference between light and dark but not all the different shades.
Matilda found lots of blue things around the house and we compared the different shades of blue. Her favourites were her light blue my little pony and her turquoise frozen bag!
Luke has been on a blue hunt around the house, he found lots of different shades of blue but his favourite was royal blue (bright blue as Luke calls it) he said it’s like his daddy’s car . Lukes bedroom has lots of blue in it so he found most of his blue items in there!
Elliot found lots of blue things both in and out of the house and was surprised how many different shade he found! We talked a lot about the difference between light blue and bright blue. He decided his favourite shade was electric blue.
Blue is Alexander’s favourite colour. We have found a navy blue jumper, a pale blue teddy bear, a silver blue car, a baby blue ball, a duck blue book, denim trousers, a sky blue tshirt, a turguoise towell and an indigo plate.
Olivia likes dark blue ‘especially if it’s really really dark’! She found some blue things at Grandma and Grandpa’s house – a dark blue see saw, a turquoise vase, light blue butterflies on Livy’s tshirt, and they have just painted their garage and front door sky blue recently!
I ran around the house and looked at lots of different things with varying shades of blue. However, my favourite is the shiny electric blue of my big number 4 birthday balloon.
Charlie’s favourite shade was light blue because it’s bright – he enjoyed finding lots of different things and particularly loved a light blue car that he saw
