    Maddie found tomato ketchup, a red bed from her dolls house and a red bubble machine!

    Dorothy did a colour hunt and found lots of red objects around the home. Her favourite things were a Peppa pig soft toy… Dorothy said ” Peppa’s dress is lovely red and soft”, and a red toy car which Dorothy said was “hard, feels like metal, and is a bit shiny.”

    Mason looked round our garden for the colour red and found a Spiderman cup, bubble wand, bat, ride on motorbike, shuttles and a frisbee.

    Morwenna found lots of red things. She found a face mask, a leaf, a petal, lego pieces, a book, bubbles, a wrist band, a cushion, a toy postbox and a toy playmobil ladder, dress, chair and bottle.

    Daniel did a red hunt around the house, he found: socks, tomatoes, apples, jam, shoes, toy car, play doh & a red Spider-Man outfit. Daniel loves poppies and they are red.

    Daniel went on a red hunt around the house, he found socks, tomatoes, apples, jam, a toy car, play doh & a red Spider-Man costume. One of Daniels favourite flowers is a poppy which is red.

    Elsie found a red: Toy Aeroplane, crayon, Smyths voucher, Moam, bag, Jessie the cowgirl hat, pencil pot, paint and mug.
    She described their appearance and texture. We talked about rough and smooth, hard and soft.

    Orla found a red;
    Sock, gloves, lip stick, toothbrush, apple, ketchup and lots of barbie clothes and toys!
    We discussed the different textures and used our senses to describe them.
    Orla thought the apple was ‘smooth and hard but squashy in the middle’, we also listened to the sound it made when we put a fork in (Orla said it made a ‘juicy sound’)

    Jake went to Cannock Chase forest and we hunted for things that were red. He found some red berries on a bush, we saw red bikes and we looked at some leaves that had fallen that were starting to turn red in Autumn. We also did a hunt at home and looked for lots of red things which Jake really enjoyed.
