We visited London last November for my birthday. We got on a train from Birmingham to London. We visited the Queens house and she has soliders and police officers as guards. The Queen lives in a place called Buckingham Palace. We also visited Hamleys toy store where I picked some toys. When we were sightseeing we caught tube trains which were all underground and visited the London Eye,Big Ben and Winter Wonderland. We also visited a really tall glass building called the Shard and had to get into a lift to get to the top floor. Some people go to the airport and fly on an aeroplane to get to London and some people drive in a car. Mummy told me that London is the capital of England.

I haven’t been to London yet but would love to go! I know that the queen lives in London in a big palace called Buckingham palace.
I know that Big Ben is in London living next to the Houses of Parliament where the gunpowder plot was.
Lots of people live in London so the traffic is busy, so people get around by walking, cycling, buses, taxis and the underground trains.

Alex has never been to London but we are planning to go for a day out as Alex really wants to see the Crown Jewels like in the minions movie.
Alex also knows that people can get around on the river Thames as his Daddy went on a speedboat to see the sights.

Isla went to London when she was in F2, 4 years old. We went on the train on a Saturday morning in October half term. When we got there we went to natural history museum to learn about dinosaurs. After that we went to Hamleys and Isla bought a purple monster with her pocket money.

We then went on a boat with Isla’s friend Sophia, this is the same boat that people go to work on. We then had a meal with Sophia and her family and went back to the hotel to sleep.

I have been to London but only to catch my connecting train to Paris from St Pancras it was very busy and people were every where, Tyler and I noticed that the people all seemed so busy, we used a black cab, we where going to use the tube but I did not like it at all, it’s underground and all the people seemed to be packed together.
I would like to go back to London to see Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the National History Museum. Most importantly of all is my Godmother Auntie Liz and Uncle Tom now live in London, I love spending time with them.

I have been to London a few times when I was younger. I went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park where we went into an ice kingdom. This was very cold and I didn’t want to stay for long! I have also been to watch the runners in the London Marathon. When my Mummy worked in London I went to visit her work friends – I was only a few weeks old so I don’t remember this! Big Ben and the Tower of London are famous buildings.

  13. Aimee says:

When I was younger, I visited London a few times. We used to live nearby so we could get the train. I went to Winter Wonderland and visited a freezing cold ice kingdom. I’ve also watched the runners in the London Marathon. When I was a few weeks old, Mummy showed me where she worked in London but I slept through it. This summer, I will visit London again and see Big Ben and the Tower of London.

When we went to London we went to Hamleys. This is the biggest toyshop in the World! We also went to tower bridge, we saw the London eye but didn’t go on it. We saw the Shard and the Armadillo and the gherkin! We played in some water fountains on South Bank. We had an ice cream and saw lots of pigeons.
On another visit to London we went on a boat, on the river, and we went to the British Museum. We followed an art trail in the museum.
