Jake says the leaves fall off the trees in Autumn. Jake enjoys collecting conkers that have fallen off the trees. We always try and look for big conkers!

It starts getting darker more quickly when I get home from school. It is also darker in the mornings. It rains a lot and gets colder. The best part is the leaves as they change colours and fall off the trees and I can kick them and make a pile and jump on top.

  3. Haydn says:

I love to look for and collect conkers every Autumn, we walk past the horse chestnut trees on the way to School every morning, and as we return from School we collect as many as we can carry. Tyler likes to put a conker in every room in the house as it stops the spiders coming in.

  4. Borys says:

We know Autumn is here because all the leaves look gorgeous. I have noticed red, orange, yellow, gold and brown leaves so far. I also love collecting conkers and acorns and making little figures with them. I like Autumn because of all the beautiful colours. And after Autumn, Winter will come and I am hoping for a lot of SNOW 🙂

It is getting much colder and darker at teatime. The leaves on the trees are turning yellow, orange and brown. The strawberries in the garden have stopped growing.

It’s getting colder and the leaves and starting to fall down and are going orange. I like picking the acorns up that fall off the trees.

The leaves change colour and fall from the trees. I like collecting conkers and acorns. I have been planting acorns to see if they will grow into a oak tree.

When the leaves change colour and then fall off the trees. It also starts to get chilly.

  9. Adam says:

Adam said you know autumn has come when the leaves fall off the trees and go crunchy when you stand on them. Conkers fall off too. Adam said you know it’s not summer anymore when it goes dark early and feels cold at night.

  10. Ben Harris says:

I like collecting conkers and acorns so I can look at them and plant them in my garden patch. Signs of autumn are leaves turning red, golden, yellow and brown. I like the golden leaf the most.
