I think a good book would be Going on a bear hunt because it was funny!

How about ‘Each peach pear plum’ because it was my favourite book when i was small, it has lots of nursery rhyme characters in that he might know and it rhymes. Hairy Mclairey, because it repeats and he can join in. I asked my little brother Thomas in F1 and he said the hungry caterpillar.

      Thank you Ted and Thomas

I do not know ‘Each peach pear plum’ so I must find out about it as it sounds good especially ‘Hairy Mclairey’. Oscar loves joining in so I think he would like it.

The Hungry Caterpillar is already a favourite Thomas just like you. I know because Oscar had a Hungry Cterpillar Birthday cake.

    Hello Miss Mason.
My favoutite collection of books are The Mister Men and I have read them time and time again to my three children. After many years shut away in my wardrobe they are back out for me to read to my grand-children. Mr Happy is my favourite. I think Oscar would like these stories.

I have asked Neave and Orla who are a similar age to Oscar and they both have said that he may like their favorites… ‘Charlie Cook’s favorite book’ or perhaps ‘Room on the Broom’. (Julia Donaldson)

I found a copy of Room on a Broom in school so I will definitely be trying that one. I am sure if you like it Oscar will too.

      Thank you

James suggests ‘The Gruffalo’ and ‘The snail and the whale’ by Julia Donaldson.

Jacob used to love the ‘Thomas’ books as he loved trains at 3 years old so thought Oscar might like them as well?

I think I’ve forgotten more than I can remember. Thomas the Tank Engine books were firm favourites with my boys but my daughter liked Can’t You Sleep Little Bear. They loved the Mr Men books too. So many to choose from.
