  3. Year 3 says:

In Year 3 we listened to the story about the mouse and lion and even though the mouse was small he still needed RESPECT from the large lion. We should treat other people with RESPECT even when they are different to ourselves. Oliver said, ‘We should treat people how we want to be treated!’.
Helping others shows respect too said Neil.

Finley said we should show respect to everyone all over the world. Libby said we should respect our Mums and Dads. Elliot said we needed to show respects to nurses and doctors. Other people we talked about were teachers, lunchtime supervisors, the cooks, cleaners and the office staff.
We also talked about respecting animals and our environment.

  5. Ben harris says:

You can’t see respect, respect is when two people are being kind to each other. We should show respect to everyone at home and at school! After the lion got trapped in the net and the small mouse helped him out the net, the lion realised that everyone deserves respect.

Respect looks like when someone is helping you with something. We should respect everyone in the world because we are all equal. The lion respected the mouse when the lion got trapped by a trap the mouse chewed it apart so the lion could get out of the trap so then he respected the mouse.

  9. Daisy-Mae says:

What does respect look like? respect looks like when your kind and listion to evrey one and you understand evrey one

Who should we show respect to?evreyone beacuse it polite and the right thing

In the story, the lion didn’t respect the mouse at first. What happened to help the lion learn to respect the mouse?when the mouse saved the lion he realised you may be tall or small and evrey ones equuall

  10. Georgia Palmer 6H says:

Respect is when people listen to one another and help eachother.
I think we should respect everyone because everyone is equal and you have to treat other people the way you like to be treated.
To help the lion respect the mouse, the mouse rescued the lion from a hunter’s trap. The lion was very happy so he learnt to respect everyone who respected him.

  11. Georgia M 6M says:

Respect looks like being kind and helpful towards others.
We should show respect to everyone but we respect everyone in different ways.

    Everyone always show respect.

  12. Ronika and Mia Yr6 says:

I think that respect looks like two or more people be polite, kind and understanding towards everybody. We should show respect to everybody because everyone is equal but I think we show respect in different ways towards others. The lion got stuck and nobody showed respect to him but the mouse did by helping him. Earlier on in the story the lion did something to help the mouse and the mouse did something back. The moral of the story is that if you help others they will help you.

Respect is listening when the teacher is talking or someone in your class is talking, when you help someone and when you treat everyone the same.

  15. Amelie says:

Respect is when you are kind and you show respect to everyone and you should treat other people the way you want to be treated and you should listen to what others have to say and pay attention.
We should show respect to everyone like children, teachers, parents, friends, and family because everyone is equal so they should get treated the same way you wanted to be treated and how you treat others.

  16. Emma 6H says:

Respect looks like helping others (like friendship) and shows kindness, and if someone is talking you don’t talk and listen to them. And you should always treat others with respect: they deserve it. We should respect everybody no matter what skin colour, what religine and how the act to you, you should respect family, friend’s and everybody you know at home and at school.

  17. Daisy Woodman 6H says:

Respect is helping others, not talking when the teacher or someone is talking, understanding everyone. After hearing the story I realise that everyone is different and we should respect everyone : Seeks, Hindo, Musslim, White, Black, whatever colour, whatever religion. We should show respect: to teachers, parents, guardians, friends, people in your class and yourself.

  18. jack y6 says:

Respect looks like kindness and stuff like that. You should show respect to everyone. First, the lion underestimated the mouse, but the lion got trapped in a net and the mouse could have just left the lion, but he was kind and got the lion out. Then the lion realised he should respect everyone and everything there size or shape.
