    Lee said there is a keep, turret,moat, drawbridge & dungeon. He has enjoyed learning about the castles.

    Charlie was very excited to show me his castle. He told me all about the moat, the trap door, the secret hideouts in the castle walls for the soldiers to shoot their bow and arrows.

    There is a drawbridge on a castle. There are turrets on a castle. There are windows (arrow slits) that you can shoot arrows from but other people can’t shoot back. Castles have moats so if it is dark and people need to attack, and people walk over to the moat and if people don’t see it they will just fall in.

    Castles can be very old and very big. I have been to Warwick Castle & I walked up to the top of the tower and I could see very far.

    Castles have a lots of different parts. They have a drawbridge, a tower, a moat and a portcullis (gate). Castles are very old buildings. I have been to Warwick Castle and The Tower of London.
