    Sebby enjoyed the red hunt and had this to say:
    Red handled scissors – they snip things, they feel a bit rough and a bit smooth
    Pringles tube – it’s a cylinder that holds crisps and it’s smooth
    Heart pillow – use it for cuddling and lying on, it’s soft and squashy
    Ferrari racing car model – it’s hard and shiny and you look at it
    Building blocks – you build with them, they’re hard and they’re a squished cube shape
    Covers of books – they’re bendy, smooth and light

    Isaac found the following objects around the house & we have discussed what there uses are
    Painted wall – part of the house
    T-shirt – keeps you warm
    Suitcase – carry our luggage on holiday
    Red pen – writing
    Record – listening to music
    Blanket – keep you warm
    Glass ornament – holds candles
    Giant pencil – drawing
    Ball – Ziggy ‘s (our cats) toy

    We found these red objects!
    Bowl- for eating, it was hard and smooth
    Cup- for drinking, it was also hard and smooth
    Handbag- soft, for carrying things
    Guinea pig tunnel at my cousin Katherine’s house, for the guinea pigs to play in
    Washing up liquid was red, for doing the washing up! It was runny
    Tomatoes to eat! Squashy and cold

    Alex has gone on a ‘red hunt’ around the house and found lots of different things;Red tights, pirate ship, toy cars, candles, a little red carpet in his room, a red shirt, his slide, ketchup!
    Lots of objects, with differed textures and shapes

    Albie went on a hunt around our street we seen. Red post box a red phone box red swings in the park a little dog had a red lead it was a lot of fun and found a lot of things that was red.

    Maya found red socks, a red book, Red headphones for listening to her Tablet abd Alex’s red trainers, Maya seems to be settling into F2 really well and really looks forward to going to school and having lunch with her friends

    Gwen found:
    headphones (there is a cord and parts to put in your ears to listen to music)
    a lamp (it is metal and lights up when you switch it on)
    a balloon (it is egg shaped and we can kick it around)
    a swing (it is circular and plastic and you can twist around on it)
    an apron (it is spotty and we put it on to stop getting messy)
    a bus (it is plastic and plays music with ABC and 123 songs)

    Luke found on his red object house hunt a Henry hoover, his dog Madison’s red collar, fire engine toy, picture frame, red pen, books, coat, punching bag, lunch box, shampoo bottle, duvet cover, rug, pillow, Spiderman, Ironman, Hulk Buster and lots of Lego.

    Pippa found lots of things that were red and we talked about what they were and how they felt: Bathroom towel, Winnie the Pooh’s tshirt, toothpaste tube, bath crayon, garden slide, red pen, Mr Tumble book, Mickey Mouses shorts, toy box and Daddy’s football shurt.

    Ava has so far found a red cup, t-shirt, apple and pen, and continues to search around the house for more…

    Indiya food a red dressing gown which she described as feeling fluffy. She also found her Mickey Mouse teddies dressed in red which she said felt soft. We found red letters on the fridge , a red toy and a red radio which she said we could listen to music on.
