Keeping your self healthy is extremly important because if something happens to your body it can effeft anywhere inside it .Five a day is a good thing to do becuase it is helping you keep your body fit(five a day is a mix of friut and veg),I do eat my five a day beacuse it is good for you.

Taste the rainbow is a variety of coulours due to the friut or veg colour .My favourite colour is the green rainbow because I like kewi and it is in that section also green is one of my favourites colours.

‘Snacks’ aren’t always something healthy because it is just like something quick to eat.On the slide show the healthyest snacks are the friut and veg because the cupcake has sugar in which is bad for your boday and bad for your teeth whilste the fruit and veg are good for all things and no negatives.

60 mins of sports or something getting you energetic, I sometimes do my 60 mins.I keep active by doing as much as much as sports I can do.

All the children in year 1 know that 5 a day means that to keep healthy we need to make sure we eat at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables each day. Sebastian said he eats grapes, apples, oranges, peas and strawberries every day. Leah eats bananas, strawberries, grapes, oranges and carrots every day. All of the children were able to tell me 5 fruits and vegetables that they eat everyday. Taste a rainbow means that you should try and eat lots of different colours on your plate each day. A variety is important for a healthy balanced diet.
Scarlett and Toby said their favourite colour of the rainbow was yellow. Sophie and Chloe like purple. Caleb, Luke, Harry W and Leah like red.
All the children were asked what are healthy snacks and they all gave the names of fruits and vegetables eaten raw as healthy snacks. Leah particularly likes raw carrots.
Exercise is good for you to keep us fit and healthy. Imogen likes dancing. Myrtle likes roller skating. Toby likes ice skating. Finley and Olivia like to swim. Harry likes to do press ups. Oscar said he likes to use the hula hoop. Freddie likes to play football. Haris likes cricket.

  6. Mrs Turner says:

The children in Foundation talk about ways to stay healthy every day, usually because we are talking about washing our hands at key times and also the snack and drinks that are available. The children are very good at eating the fruit and vegetables on offer, we know without asking that bananas are our favourite because there are never any left at the end of the morning!
The children really enjoy being active and the free flow outdoor area helps us to do that everyday. The equipment that is loved the best are the footballs and the hoops as you can play so many different games with them. We think all the children in Foundation were amazing on their sports day and when we asked them which race was their favourite, they said, “All of them!”
