Phoebe went to Birmingham on the train. She saw fields, trees, horses at first but as we got closer to Birmingham she saw houses, shops and factories. She got two tickets one on the way and one on the return journey.
How exciting to see the landscape changing so dramatically in such a short space of time. I hope you had lots of fun in Birmingham, there are lots of places to go and things to see there.
We didn’t do a train ride but Libby has been on them before to stratford , Henley and birmingham. We looked at different types of transport and went to a part of the train track you can walk over and explained safely of train tracks
Pippa visited a steam train station whilst we were on holiday and we saw a level crossing and signal box. We also crossed over the trainline on a bridge. We also talked about the different vehicles on the motorway when we were travelling home.
